Per Buks kunstneriske arbejde spænder bredt – fra maleri, blæk tegninger og papkasse værker til keramiske skulpturer og aluskulpturer, som ofte udtrykker et formsprog inspireret af fabelvæsener og fugle.

For mig er det vigtigt, at mine værker spejler det umiddelbare, livsglæde og den æstetik, der findes i spontanitet. Temaet i mine værker er frihed.

A universe of fable, bird and fantasy characters.

Per Buk’s artistic work ranges widely – from painting, ink drawings and cardboard box works to ceramic and aluminium sculptures, which often express an idiom inspired by mythical creatures and birds.

“My art is characterised by a spontaneous and joyful approach. I strive to capture the spontaneous line and form without overthinking the process.

To let the thought stop in my shoulder, so it becomes the arm itself that creates the works”

For me, it’s important that my work reflects the immediacy, joy of life and the aesthetics of spontaneity. The theme in my works is freedom.
